Christine Comyn brings paint to life. Her paintings emerge in layers of colour, water and light, where depth and movement converge in a third dimension. From abstract backgrounds, female figures grow with eyes that keep following you, wherever you may be.

For almost forty years her work has moved between disciplines, countries and stories. From intimate portraits to large-scale series, from water-based painting techniques to plexi layers, from silence to music and movement. What remains is her signature: nonchalance chic, intuitive and bold at the same time.

Every work is an encounter. Between colour and figure. Between her feeling and that of the viewer.

Every first weekend of the month, Atelier Christine Comyn opens its doors. An invitation to step into the heart of her creative process: where every figure on canvas emerges from silence, intuition and paint.

Visit the studio freely between 11am and 7pm, or make an appointment for personal guidance. Everything unfolds by feel: without a fixed programme or presentation.
